Meeting our PALS
The class were extremely excited to meet their PALS. They had fun playing together and getting to know one another!
Reading to our PALS
After spending lots of time planning, writing and editing our biographies, we read them to our PALS in Year One.
As part of our Eco schools week, we planted trees down by the secret garden! We will watch them as they grow throughout the year!
We designed and made volcanoes in our DT lessons this term using cardboard, newspaper and modroc! We even got the make them erupt using baking soda and vinegar!
World War One Projects
I have been blown away by the effort put into the children's homework projects this half term. It is clear that everyone has thoroughly enjoyed learning about the war and creating art work, models, presentations and even CAKES based on their findings.
Thank you to everyone who helped the children along the way!
The class have been working hard to raise money for our good Shepherd Appeal this Lent.
We have run whole school events such as bake sales and fruit stick sales, as well as individual events such as sponsored cycles!
Thank you to family and friends who have supported the children in their efforts!

As part of our Geography topic, we have been thinking about the impact of humans on the earth. We have considered ways in which we can help to stop the damage caused by littering, pollution and global warming.
We took a walk around our local area to see first hand, the impact of humans on the environment!
Please make sure that all uniform including PE kit is labelled.
This term, we will be swimming on Monday afternoons at Bingley baths as part of our PE curriculum. Please ensure all children bring their swimming kit including towel and goggles (if needed). Swimming will take place every Monday until the end of the year.
Homework will be handed out on Monday and collected in on Friday.
