Sickness Bug:

There is currently a sickness bug in school. Please can we remind parents that if their child is sick or has diarrhoea, they must stay at home for at least 48 hours from the LAST episode of illness. This is to try to prevent infection and the bug spreading.

If your child just feels unwell/sick keep them at home if you can.

To help prevent the spread further, school has contacted public health England and is putting the following measures in place:

  • Reverting back to 'bubbles' for Thursday and Friday to help prevent pupils from mixing
  • Cancelling Friday morning/afternoon assembly
  • Increased ventilation
  • Deep cleaning affected classrooms and communal areas
  • Regular, increased cleaning of common touch points
  • Reminding children of the importance of washing their hands properly with soap and water and drying them properly with paper towels

Thank you for your support.
