Online Safety

Being online can be a fun, educational experience. Today's children need to be skilled using the internet, and need to be taught how to use it safely. They will have regular online learning lessons within the school curriculum to give them skills and techniques to keep themselves safe. However, as the children spend ever more time online, both for their learning and their leisure, it has never been more important to be aware of the potential pitfalls and dangers they may face.

There are some free helpful parent guides below from the National Online Safety website, https://nationalonlinesafety.com/. This is an excellent website that offers a lot of free advice for children, parents and educators. You do need to register for the materials, but access to the posters below are all free.

If you have concerns about your child's online behaviour, if they become upset or how your child has been treated by another pupil online, please speak to your child's class teacher.
