URGENT APPEAL FOR BROWNIE LEADERS

4th Cottingley Brownies which is based at St Mary’s and St Monica’s church is a thriving brownie unit, attended by girls between the ages of 7 and 10 - predominantly from this school.

Unfortunately, due to a change in personal circumstances, the previous leaders have had to give up their positions and brownies now find themselves threatened with closure.  This would be extremely sad and disappointing for everyone and effects so many younger children who were hoping to join brownies in the future.

If you have a little spare time or know someone else who does, then please contact us as soon as possible.  Leaders come from all walks of life, ages and professions. e.g they could be looking for something to do because their own children have grown up or perhaps they need experience because they are considering a profession working with children.

No previous training is required (you will be given the necessary training including first aid etc).  All you need is enthusiasm (which will be very well rewarded) and to be over eighteen.

If you are interested please contact:
